The slug and the rat possess the dead.
The earth is red;
the grass is green:
this is said
to dish the spleen
The ant and stone
grant peace to the bone
The wind is the same
The sun is the sun
This is the tone
Put an end to the moan
Make me no memory
Make me no tomb
Let them take the cemetery
I’ll have the womb
